The Federal Academy of Ballet presents an exciting opportunity for young and experienced male and female dancers to experience a glimpse of a professional production. As part of our bi-annual concert in 2019, we will be staging a mini production of Don Quixote, the ballet. Dancers will experience what it is like to be in a professional production, all the way from auditions to rehearsals and performance. Registration ends 18 January 2019, Friday.

Dancers will experience what it is like to be in a professional production, all the way from auditions to rehearsals and performance. Registration ends 18 January 2019, Friday.
Requirements:
- Boys and Girls and mature ballerinas from Grade 3 onwards may apply
- Must be attending regular classes and a student at FAB
- Able to pick up choreography quickly
- Available for the rehearsal period between February - July 2019
- Sunday, 27 the January 2019 (3PM-6.45PM)
- Female candidates please wear tights, a leotard, ballet flats and hair tied back in a bun
- Male candidates please wear a leotard or singlet, tights and ballet flats
- Each audition will take approximately 45-60 minutes
Audition Schedule:
- 3pm - 3.45pm: Junior - Grade 3 to 4
- 3.45pm - 4.45pm: Intermediate - Grade 5 and above
- 4.45pm-5.45pm: Advanced - Adv. Foundation and above (includes pointe work)
- 5.45pm-6.45pm: Solo auditions

- Fonteyn Theatre, 5th Bangunan FAB, 1-3, Jalan 14/22, 46100 Petaling Jaya
- Results of the audition will be posted up on the noticeboard at all branches. Successful candidates will also receive an email.

Participation Fee - RM895
There will be a participation fee for the production to pay for the costs of training, costumes, sets, rehearsal venue etc. A brief breakdown of the fees is given below. If required, the fee may be paid in installments.
