Alexey Dmitrenko studied dance in Moscow and Vienna. He danced in Vienna Volksopera and Theater Innsbruck in Austria, Thueringen Ballet in Germany, Columbia classical ballet and Oregon Ballet Theater in the United States and Theater St. Gallen in Switzerland.

Throughout his career he worked on pieces of George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Uwe Scholz, Gregor Seyffert, Davide Bombana, Robert North, Nils Christe, Renato Zanella, Chang Ho Chin, Natalia Horesna, Marco Goecke, Paul Lightfoot, Johnathan Lunn, Bob Wilson etc.
transitioning from classical ballet to different ways of body work integrating body and mind awareness.
